LG's 98-inch 8K LED TV is stunning, but there's no 8K content to watch on it

LAS VEGAS — CES is the place to be if you want to see the hottest new tech in store for the year. It's also the first place to see insanely oversized TVs that only the 1% will be able to afford.

Case in point: LG's new 98-inch 8K LED TV, which has four times the resolution of a 4K TV and and eight times the resolution of a full HD TV. The 8K TV has so much resolution (7,680 x 4,320) that reality doesn't even look real enough compared to its picture quality.

Like all of the TVs at CES, the 8K LED TV boasts a number of picture-enhancing features that LG says are a must-have, like High Dynamic Range (HDR), ColorPrime Plus (a color filter for more accurate colors), True Black Control for ultra deep blacks, Ultra Luminance for 30% more brightness and more.
