You can build real-life 'Minecraft' creations that work with the game

Minecraft is all about the act of creation, but littleBits wants to help players forge into a new frontier: the real world.

The DIY electronics company has developed a Minecraft mod like you've never seen before. Using special Wi-Fi-enabled building blocks in tandem with the game's Redstone dust "wiring" and the littleBits Minecraft Mod, players have the ability to build things in the real world that interact with the game, and vice versa.

The kits that littleBits sells aren't specifically made for Minecraft. The company is focused on enabling would-be inventors of all ages, and items like its Gizmos & Gadgets Kit contain an assortment of modules that snap together using magnets.
