Jerry Seinfeld won't be getting the first $205,700 Acura NSX after all

In 2012, Acura delighted America with a Super Bowl commercial featuring Jerry Seinfeld in his quest to be the first to get the all-new NSX supercar. Despite his hilarious attempts to acquire the first one off the production line, Acura will instead be auctioning off the initial 2017 NSX for charity. Sorry, Jerry.

The very first serial production Acura NSX, with VIN 001, will cross the auction block at the Barrett-Jackson collector car auction in Scottsdale, Arizona the last week of January. The proceeds of which will go to a pair of children's charities: the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation and Camp Southern Ground, the passion project of Grammy Award-winning artist Zac Brown.
