UK police arrest man as part of VTech toy hacking investigation

UK police arrested a 21-year-old man on Tuesday as part of an investigation into the VTech data breach that exposed the personal data of millions of users, including children.

Officers from the South East Regional Organized Crime Unit (SEROCU) arrested the man in Bracknell, about 30 miles west of London, "on suspicion of unauthorised access to computer to facilitate the commission of an offence," SEROCU said in a statement. The man's name and other details were not provided.
