Epic Google Chrome experiment turns your smartphone into a lightsaber

Google just unleashed its coolest Star Wars-themed project yet.

The company unveiled Lightsaber Escape, a Chrome experiment that turns your smartphone into a lightsaber so you can battle Stormtroopers in your computer's browser.

To check it out, head to Google's Lightsaber Escape site and follow the on-screen instructions. You'll need to go to the corresponding URL on your smartphone browser and calibrate your smartphone by holding it up to the screen

Once calibrated, you can start a tutorial where you learn to battle a single Stormtrooper, before moving on to a whole army of themWave your phone across the screen to fend off attacks and strike the Stromtroopers with your lightsaber while moving through the Star Destroyer. Read more...
