Offline navigation is now available for Google Maps on iOS

Google is bringing one of its most useful Maps features to iOS.

The company began adding support for offline navigation to its iOS app, Google confirmed on Monday. The update also added the ability to view gas prices and see wait-times for local businesses.

While Google Maps previously allowed people to view sections of maps offline, the latest update lets you search for specific locations, get directions and view information like business hours and contact information for restaurants and other businesses.

The feature, which was first teased during Google's I/O developer conference in May and rolled out to Android users last month, is beginning to roll out to iOS now.
