Volkswagen to hold dieselgate update press conference Thursday

The Volkswagen Group will hold a press conference Thursday morning announcing the "current status of the clarification process concerning the diesel issue and on the realignment of the Group."

This likely means VW executives will share the initial results of its internal investigation surrounding what's come to be known as "dieselgate" as well as how the company plans to move forward.

Also on Tuesday the Consumer Technology Association announced that Herbert Diess, chairman of Volkswagen Passenger Cars, would deliver a keynote at CES in January, unveiling a new kind of electric concept car and "debut a new era of electric mobility." Read more...
