LG is getting into mobile payments, but only in South Korea

Following the lead of Apple, Android and Samsung, LG announced it is developing a mobile payments platform, in a post on its Facebook page Thursday. The company partnered with two Korean banks with the aim to launch the service, called LG Pay, in South Korea, with no current plans to bring the service elsewhere, reports TechCrunch.
