But first, let's take a step back in time.
When I was a boy, I had a poster of the Lamborghini Countach on my wall. Though I didn't know it at the time, the blocky, rear-wheel drive Italian supercar was a real beast of a machine — and I don't mean just because of its acceleration and looks.
Instead, the car was hard, hot, loud, heavy and all sorts of unwieldy. For better or worse, since Audi bought Lamborghini back in 1998 and made most of its models all-wheel drive, the cars have been much more manageable.
