Smartphone addiction is real. Just ask Ashton Kutcher.

The TV star-turned-startup investor has teamed up with Motorola on a set of new commercials that spotlight just how dependent we are on our phones

The spots, which are part of his larger campaign with the company called "#PhoneLove," feature Kutcher leading an experiment that challenges unsuspecting subjects to sit in a room alone without looking at their phones — while Kutcher and company bait them with calls and text messages.
