Forget hoverboards: The MoHawk V3 feels like the future

I walk a lot. Every day in the city I walk two miles back and forth to the office. I see others using bikes and scooters and, occasionally, someone on a bizarre self-powered device like the InMotion MoHawk V3.

The electric, intelligent MoHawk V3 looks and works a little like a stunted unicycle. I had to learn how to ride it for a recent TV appearance. Even though it has two slender 14-inch inflatable wheels, they are positioned just an inch apart so it’s really more like one fat one.

And whereas a unicycle lets you sit down, the 20 x 16-inch (H x W) MoHawk V3 is well short of your butt. It’s also just seven inches wide to fit comfortably between your legs.
