Why these 5 guys camped out for the launch of Australia's first Microsoft store
On Thursday, Microsoft opened its first flagship store outside of North America on a busy shopping street in Sydney, Australia.
Unlike Apple, which is known for the lines of fanboys camping out for its products, there was some doubt Microsoft could achieve the same level of hype. But lo, Wednesday night, there were rumours of at least three people sleeping rough outside the giant glass store.
To celebrate the launch, Microsoft offered the first 750 customers through the door tickets to an exclusive Jessie J concert — so were those lining up a good 18 hours in advance simply dedicated fans of the pop star?
