Hands on with TAG Heuer's $1,500 Connected Android Wear smartwatch

TAG Heuer CEO Jean-Claude Biver doesn't think his company's new $1,500 Connected smartwatch is too expensive or too late to the party to compete with the Apple Watch. Quite the contrary, he's resoundingly confident that the Connected is the first smartwatch that marries true luxury — Swiss luxury — with miniaturized wearable computing.

"We are going to do a watch, not a computer," Biver said at the Connected's New York City launch event. "Even if there is a computer inside, it's a watch that will [last] for eternity."
