Apple reportedly went to a carmaker conference as a 'front company'

Studying the attendees list of Automotive Circle, a German automotive body construction and painting techniques symposium, is perhaps worse than watching said automotive paint dry.

That is, until you see a familiar but mysterious name down near the bottom of the list: "Sixty Eight Research," a firm that AppleInsider believes is a flimsy front for Apple's unconfirmed "Titan" car project.

In March, AppleInsider reported that the Sixty Eight Research offices are right under Apple's nose, including a 4,239-square-foot "repair garage" that is "nestled amongst a number of verifiable Apple-run offices." Read more...
