Snapchat's new filters let you slow, fast-forward and rewind videos

Despite the ephemeral nature of Snapchat, the app has slowly been introducing more opportunities to be creative with every snap.

In the newest set of additions, Snapchat on Wednesday started rolling out "Speed Modifiers," a new feature that lets you slow-motion, fast-forward or rewind your videos.

It works just like your filters. Record your video, and then swipe across your screen until you reach each "Speed Modifier" option.

The update also includes 3D Touch capabilities for the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. Force touch Snapchat's app icon, and you can quickly chat or add a new friend from the drop-down menu. Read more...
