London's famous Abbey Road Studios launches music tech incubator

LONDON — It's given us Abbey Road and The Dark Side Of The Moon, film scores for Skyfall and Star Wars and — via Alan Blumlein’s tinkerings for EMI in the 1930s — stereo sound.

Now, Abbey Road Studios is looking to push the experimentation it's been known for since Elgar and the London Symphony Orchestra kicked things off in 1931 even further, by launching a brand new music technology incubator.

Abbey Road Red was unveiled in the famous Studio 2 Wednesday night and judging by the early tech startups that were on display, it looks like one to keep an eye on.
