Hendo reveals next-gen hoverboard in time for 'Back to the Future' celebrations

Thanks to the popularity of Back to the Future, October 21 became the day to assess how close the future has come to the fiction of the iconic movie

Today's also the day we get to see how far a real life version of the film's hoverboard, in this case the Hendo hoverboard, has come in its efforts to reach consumers. Arx Pax, the company behind the device, just took the wraps off the latest version of its floating skateboard, and it doesn't disappoint in terms of futuristic looks.

The Hendo 2.0 beta 4-engine prototype is the next generation of the company's Kickstarter-backed hoverboard. This time, the hoverboard's design was the result of a collaboration with pro skateboarder Tony Hawk, the guy who helped the company show off the last version of the hoverboard. Read more...
