It only took Google Photos 5 months to reach 100 million users
Reaching the 100 million users figure is a huge milestone even for the largest of unicorns, but for Google it's just another day in the office
On Monday, Google announced that its Photos app has surpassed 100 million monthly active users in five months
It's been a little easier for Google to reach that number — not only because of easy sign-up for an enormous Gmail user base, but also because the service is actually a successor of the Google+ photos service. It's still a big accomplishment; for comparison, Flickr — which has been around since 2004 — announced in June 2015 it had 112 million users. Read more...
