Version 2.0 of Hendo's real levitating hoverboard is coming

The quest to build Marty McFly's hoverboard from Back to the Future continues.

Mark your calendar for Wednesday, Oct. 21 because that's when Arx Pax will unveil the second version of its Hendo Hoverboard

Last year, the Hendo Hoverboard made headlines when it launched on Kickstarter and collected over $510,000

It was billed as the world's first hoverboard that could levitate off the ground. As cool as Hendo's hoverboard was, it didn't resemble McFly's hoverboard. It was big, bulky (riders likened it to riding a giant air hockey puck) and extremely difficult to ride. It also only worked on a special surface with an electromagnetic field built into it.
