Texas sues Volkswagen, Audi over diesel emissions cheating

If things weren't bad enough for the Volkswagen Group already, Texas is taking aim at at the world's largest automaker and filed suit against both VW and its subsidiary Audi over admitted emissions cheating.

Just hours after Volkswagen of America Chief Michael Horn received an earful while testifying in front of a Congressional subcommittee on Thursday, Texas made known that it has filed several suits against the carmaker, including one against Audi of America for violating state consumer protection laws as well as clean air standards in Texas.
