Sony Xperia Z5 range is coming to Australia next week

Sony has announced the Australian pricing and release date for its latest Xperia phone models.

The Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact and Xperia Z5 Premium were launched at an event in Sydney on Thursday night. The Z5 and Z5 Compact will be available to Australian consumers from Monday, Oct. 12, for A$999 (US$728) and A$849 outright, respectively

The Z5 Premium release date has not yet been announced, although it is expected to be some time in November, and it will retail for A$1,199 outright. To snap up the new phone on a contract, all the big local providers — Optus, Telstra and Vodafone — will have plans from A$80 per month. Read more...
