Android Marshmallow is available now — if you have a Nexus device

The wait for the newest version of Android is finally over. If you have a Nexus device, that is.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow is beginning to roll out to Nexus handsets and tablets, Google announced Monday. The latest version of Android includes battery life improvements, better controls over app permissions and a revamped version of Google Now.

The Nexus devices that support the update are the Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 7 (2013), Nexus 9 and Nexus Player. Google's new Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P will ship with Marshmallow pre-installed when they hit shelves later this month. Read more...
