It's Apple Music's 3-month anniversary, and it's time to pay up

Apple Music turns three today, and if you want to be around for its next birthday, you'll have to start paying.

For those who opted into the free trial on the day of its launch and were hoping to end the subscription today, we're sorry to say Apple has already started billing subscribers for the next 30-day billing cycle.

Don't worry, though. You can get a refund, and it's relatively simple. iTunes will link you to Apple Support, and you can request to reverse the charges via phone or chat.

You can also turn off auto-renewal so that you can avoid this in the future. In the top right of your iTunes window, click your name and select Account Info in the drop-down menu. Click Manage next to the Subscription option. Select Apple Music Membership, and you'll see an On/Off option for Automatic Renewal.
