Pickup for cigar box guitar promises "authentic 1960's pawn shop guitar tone"
CB Gitty is an online store that sells parts for people who like to make cigar box guitars. On of their new offerings is a Teisco Del Rey-style Gold Foil Clip-in Magnetic Pickup with Amp Cord. It's only $13.50 and sounds great! In the video above, Shane Speal demos the pickup on one of his handmade three-string license plate guitars.
