Honda's 2016 Civic adds Apple CarPlay — and a turbo

Honda has pulled the covers off its 10th-generation Civic, which is all-new for the 2016 model year and includes levels of refinement, power and technology never before seen in the compact car.

Starting with the exterior, Honda was determined to give its definitive model a sporty new look. Jarad Hall, senior exterior designer and project leader of the Civic, describes it as "a crouched and muscular look, like a tiger ready to pounce.”

In tangible terms this means the car is both wider and lower with a longer hood, bulging wheel arches and a fastback-like tail-end. Giving the car a sporty look even after the sun goes down, the Civic now has LED exterior lighting, including LED daytime running lights and C-shaped LED tail lights as standard. Read more...
