Burberry (yes, Burberry) comes to Apple Music

Apple Music just got a little classier.

Burberry will add its own curated music channel to Apple Music on Wednesday. The company becomes the first fashion brand with a channel on Apple’s music service, joining the likes of Rolling Stone, NME and Vice.

The channel isn’t a live station like Apple’s own Beats1; instead it will feature songs, recorded performances and films that Burberry has created with various British artists.

The company has been collaborating with musicians for a while for its online platform Burberry Acoustic, which highlights British musicians like Tom Odell, James Bay and Keane. The Apple Music channel will mirror much of that content, which is already accessible on Burberry’s website, but it’ll also feature a series of exclusive videos, the company said. Read more...
