Did you catch Apple's barely discussed gaming device champ?

There's a new Apple TV and it plays video games, but it's not the Apple gaming device you're looking for. Look instead to the newly announced (if you blinked, you probably missed it) iPad Mini 4.

Here are the basics: the Mini 4 packs in an A8 processor; it's not the latest one that's built into the newly announced iPad Pro, but it's a step forward for Apple's Mini line. It's also got a beefed up graphics processor and is available in 16GB, 64GB and 128GB configurations.

Apple's "Mini" line of tablets have always been the preferred choice for most gamers. They're larger than your average smartphone, but still small enough to be comfortably held and operated as a mobile gaming device. The increased screen real estate helps games really pop, too. Read more...
