Hands on with Marshall's music-focused London phone

Marshall's London Android smartphone is surprisingly impressive for a company with no experience building smartphones.

At IFA, I got a chance to fiddle around with the faux leather-clad Android phone and noodle around with its "M" button, dual headphone jacks and scroll wheel.

Normally, I hate fake leather, especially on a phone, but I have to admit it works for the London since it's going for the an amp-inspired aesthetic. I really like pressing the gold "M" button to launch your favorite music app; it works instantly.

One reason why the London feels good, despite the fact it's on the thick side, is because of its "small" 4.7-inch screen. It's 720p resolution — and about as sharp as the iPhone 6, which isn't a bad thing. Read more...
