The Asus ZenWatch 2 lets you create watch faces, but don't get too excited

BERLIN — Asus sees your Apple Watch and raises you user-customizable watch faces. Too bad that's all the leverage it's got.

The company took the wraps off its second-generation wearable, the Asus ZenWatch 2 during its IFA 2015 press conference on Wednesday. The byword is choice. The ZenWatch comes in two sizes, three case colors, offers 18 different band choices, 50 built-in watch faces, and, most notably, the ability to upload your own images to create custom watch faces.

Like the Apple Watch, the ZenWatch 2 is a fitness tracker, collecting pedometer and activity data into daily and weekly reports.
