Samsung flags Australian pricing and dates for its new Galaxy phones

Samsung's new Galaxy phones are big and beautiful, and soon to be here in Australia.

The premium phablets were unveiled in the U.S. Thursday, but the Australian details were announced in Sydney on Tuesday. First things first, the big-screened Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ and Galaxy Note 5 are now available for pre-sale, but will be in stores from Sept. 4.

This is how much they'll set you back: The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 32GB comes in black sapphire and gold platinum for a cool A$1,099. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ 32GB in black sapphire and white pearl will sell for A$1,199, while the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ 64GB in black sapphire and white pearl is slightly pricier at A$1,299.
