What a time to be alive. I'm writing these words to you on a computer with an operating system built by nerds, using a content management system built by more nerds. You might be reading them on a smaller phone screen, popularized by one nerd and disseminated by many other nerds — and you found this article because of networks full of your friends created by a further bunch of like-minded nerds

Basically, nerds have designed and popularized the structures that make up life in 2015 — and they aren't stopping. At this point, it's actually more reasonable to call them what they are: us.
