You may never have to listen to another voicemail again, thanks to Siri

Listening to voicemails could become a thing of the past if Apple has its way.

Apple is testing a voicemail service called iCloud Voicemail that uses Siri to transcribe voicemails, according to a Business Insider report. Once transcribed, voicemails are then as text messages to iPhone users.

The report states that iCloud Voicemail is an internal testing feature and isn't available to the public yet, but could launch next year as a feature in iOS 10. In addition to transcribing voicemails, Siri will reportedly gain the ability to answer calls when you can't pick up and "relay information about where you are and why you can't pick up the phone to certain people."
