Nvidia tablet recalled for literally being too hot to handle

Nvidia is voluntarily recalling its SHIELD 8-inch gaming tablet.

The company announced on Friday morning that it's issuing a voluntary recall of all SHIELD tablets sold between July of 2014 and July of 2015 over safety concerns. Apparently the battery can overheat and pose a fire hazard.
