Hands-on with Motorola's color-crazy 3rd-gen Moto G

The Moto X Style/Pure Edition may be Motorola's flagship darling, but the Moto G is the company's best-selling smartphone to date mainly because it only costs $179.99.

For its third iteration, the price stays the same, but the phone's design and upgraded internals have been polished. It's a win-win all around. Here are my first thoughts after playing with the phone for a few moments.

The Moto G resembles a mini Moto X Style/Pure Edition and that's not a bad a thing. The screen comes with a 5-inch display made with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It's still only got 1,280 x 720 resolution, but it looks alright. Obviously, not as sharp as a 1080p display, but this is a $179.99 phone we're talking about here. Read more...
