Nokia to unveil mystery virtual reality product, report says

The virtual realty space was already the hottest new hardware category of 2015. Now it seems Nokia is preparing to join the race to create the perfect VR product.

The product, according to a report from Re/Code, is scheduled to be unveiled at a VIP event in Los Angeles sometime next week. There is no word on what the device or software product might look like, or how it might function.

If true, the entry of yet another major player alongside Facebook-owned Oculus, Google, Microsoft and secretive startup Magic Leap would help to bolster both the development of VR content.
