Siri will call the police when you say 'Charge my phone to 100%'

Well, this is slightly alarming.

A newly discovered bug in Apple's iOS will call emergency services when a user asks its voice assistant Siri to "charge my phone to 100%," as reported by The Verge. After you make the request, your iPhone will give you a five-second window to cancel the call

Mashable can confirm this result, but we urge you not to try this at home.

If you ask Siri to "charge my phone" and then say a phone number, or a contact's name, it will call that number. Similarly, if you ask Siri to "charge my phone to 99%," it will attempt to call 99 — which isn't a phone number. Read more...
