Customization may be coming to the next-gen Moto G budget smartphone

One of the coolest features of Motorola's Moto X smartphone is the Moto Maker customization tool, and the Moto G is one of the best budget Android devices on the market. Now it seems Moto Maker could be coming to the Moto G.

Mashable freelancer Evan Blass tweeted a leaked image on Monday of what appears to be third-generation, not-yet-released Moto G phones

The leaked image shows a much wider array of color options than currently offered by the snap-in "shells" for the Moto G, and hints at the ability to customize the back colors and back metal strip.
