Microsoft Office 2016 for Mac is now available to Office 365 subscribers

The wait is finally overMicrosoft is finally launching Office 2016 for Mac.

The latest versions of Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and OneNote are now available to Office 365 subscribers, the company announced Thursday. Although early versions of the updated Office suite were available during a preview period earlier this year, the official rollout marks Microsoft's first major update to the Office lineup for Mac in years.

Included are redesigned versions of Word, Excel and Powerpoint, first revealed in the Office 2016 for Mac preview in March, as well as revamped versions of Outlook and OneNote.
