Apple promises to bring back Home Sharing for music in iOS 9
Apple's iOS 8.4 brought an unpleasant surprise for many music fans: Home Sharing for music disappeared. The change means you can no longer share iTunes libraries with iPods and iPhones on the same network — though the feature still works for videos
However, Apple's senior VP of Internet Software and Services Eddy Cue claims the feature is coming back in iOS 9
"We are working to have Home Sharing in iOS 9," he said in a response to a tweet from a person asking about the feature
