Silicon Valley celebrates gay marriage, and the Internet's role in it

It's official: Same-sex marriage is legal in all 50 states, and the tech world is overjoyed.

Friday's landmark 5-4 ruling, in which the U.S. Supreme Court struck down gay marriage bans as unconstitutional, earned enthusiastic reactions from many members of the tech community, who voiced their unwavering support in interviews with Mashable on Friday.

Some also contend it was the Internet that paved the road to legalizing same-sex marriage
