Google's first vertical Street View lets you climb Yosemite in the comfort of home

Thanks to Google Street View, you can embark on extreme adventures while enjoying extreme comfort.

Google Maps announced that for the first time, you can now scale El Capitan in Yosemite, California — from wherever you happen to be.

The company explained in a blog post that the new feature allows users all over the world to virtually experience a 3,000-foot climb up El Capitan through images from world-famous climbers like Alex Honnold, Lynn Hill and Tommy Caldwell.
