Apple is reportedly no longer selling the first-generation iPad mini

It's all Retina display and 64-bit from here on out.

9to5Mac noticed that Apple quietly removed the original iPad mini from its website and store, suggesting that the device is no longer available.

Until its removal on Friday, the first-generation iPad mini was the only iOS device without a Retina display that Apple was still selling.

The iPad mini 2, released in 2013, doubled the first mini's pixels from 1,024 x 768 to 2,048 x 1,536. And last year, Apple released the iPad mini 3 with some modest updates, namely the TouchID fingerprint sensor and a gold color option. Read more...
