Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel explains why kids are so obsessed with his app

Spiegel posted a very long-winded explanation of the service on YouTube Tuesday, in which he described "the evolution of social media" and how photos have increasingly become more like "talking."

Spiegel, who says he wants to help people understand why their kids take "a zillion" pictures a day, opens the nearly 4-minute long video with a somewhat philosophical (and slightly wtf) explanation of why Snapchat is so attractive to younger users and how it ties into their sense of identity.
