Apple Watch gets its first update as many still wait for their orders

The Apple Watch is getting a tiny software update, even as many of you are still waiting for the company's first wearable to arrive at your doorstep

Version 1.01 showed up early Tuesday afternoon on the Apple Watch utility app on the iPhone. It promises bug fixes and performance improvements, but nothing else

Installing the update is pretty easy, but you'll need your Apple Watch charger; according to the utility app, in order to update your watch, the device must be:

• Connected to the Apple Watch charger

• In range of the iPhone (within 25 feet or so)
