Report: Next Apple TV will support Apple Watch, more third-party apps

Your Apple Watch could be your next Apple TV remote.

The long-awaited next generation of Apple's set-top box will will ship with Apple Watch support, according to a 9to5Mac report. The company is also reportedly working on TVKit, a new software development kit that will allow third-party developers to create apps for the Apple TV.

It's not clear how users will be able to control the Apple TV from their wrist, but the smartwatch will be positioned as "a primary input device" for the set-top box.
