Enjoy: Can Apple's former retail chief re-invent personalized shopping?

Vicky Tzannetis is one of Enjoy’s experts. Enjoy is the just-launched gadget and concierge system from Ron Johnson, late of JC Penny and Apple where he helped create the Apple Store retail experience. Now he’s created a new shopping experience with Enjoy (at GoEnjoy.com), an online retailer that sells some 60-odd gadgets ranging in price from $200 to $2,000.

That’s not a very wide selection and it wouldn’t be very interesting if it weren’t for the value-add. With each purchase comes the option of getting an “expert” to deliver the product, unbox it with you, talk you through its details and even guide you through your first real-world experience with the product.
