Google's first Apple Watch app puts the news on your wrist

Mirroring its app support of the iPhone and iPad, Google has released its first app designed for Apple's newest mobile device, the Apple Watch

The Apple Watch version of the Google News & Weather app, which draws news from roughly 65,000 news sources, puts the latest headlines on your wrist, along with time stamps and tags indicating the original news source

Although the News app offers a powerful information resource, its interface is relatively stripped down and free any of any design flourishes. That could be a feature (simplicity) or a bug (not in tune with Apple Watch's colorful interface), depending on your taste. Read more...
