DEA agents who imprisoned student for 5 days without food or water receive wristslap

In 2012 a 23-year-old UC San Diego engineering student was forced to drink his own urine after DEA agents locked him up and forgot about him for five days "in total isolation with his hands handcuffed behind his back in a windowless cell with no bathroom." Daniel Chong, who was never charged with a crime, had to be hospitalized for four days. Four of the DEA agents who nearly killed him received reprimands, and another was suspended for five days without pay.
