You can play 'Halo 3: ODST' on your Xbox One for free next month

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is set to grow next month when developer 343 Industries releases the next title update, adding the story mode from Halo 3: ODST to the game

ODST is a Halo 3 spinoff released for Xbox 360 in 2009. It focuses on the titular "Orbital Drop Shock Troopers" in the aftermath of the Battle of Mombasa, a Halo 2 set piece and key moment in the series lore. Players explore the ruined city as one of the elite soldiers, uncovering what happened to a group of missing squadmates via playable flashbacks.

There's no date for the release, but ODST will be joined by a new multiplayer map — Halo 2's Relic, newly remastered — in the free update. Read more...
