'Inside Out' first look: Brain science that punches all the feel buttons

LAS VEGAS — Disney/Pixar debuted Inside Out for the industry audience at CinemaCon on Wednesday, and although reviews are strictly verboten — this is not a review! I'll do one of those later — the film played to big laughs and was warmly received, with tears and sniffles all around the Colosseum at Caesars Palace as the deep dive into human emotions came to a close.

It's hard to imagine any one of the more than 4,000 people in attendance walked out with dry eyes; the film is purpose-built for tearjerking, and not in a cynical or manipulative way.
